Technology Part 2   Leave a comment

Whereas wars were once fought face to face, now, with modern technology, weapons launched a thousand miles away can cause massive destruction and the loss of many lives. Unfortunately, however, technology is painfully slow in harnessing natures wealth of opportunities for the betterment of millions of people. It is a sad fact that countless millions do not have the luxury of electricity or clean drinking water. Without doubt, much of this sad situation is down to the major fuel suppliers not wishing to change from using fossil fuels that have made them extremely wealthy. Had they so wanted, they could have used their billions to find and use new technology to the benefit of millions who have never had the privilege of what many of us take for granted. But then, after all, no one wants to give up the Golden Goose. Fortunately, there are a growing number of small companies and individuals who are making headway in finding new types of technology. Unless these are bought up by major companies, it could result in what is so desperately needed by many people throughout the world.

Modern Technology   Leave a comment

Technology today is now worlds apart from just a few years ago. Where once crippled by the loss of a hand or leg, now thanks to amazing advances in biotic science, artificial hands can now do things that a few years ago were thought impossible. It also enables some amputees to get out and about, and even become great sports persons. Face plants once only seen in films are also taking place. From the early days of Christian Bernard pioneer heart transplant, lungs, kidneys, eye cornea and other organs now give a second chance of life to some lucky people. However, despite these marvelous operations now taking place, not many are fortunate to have them. It will still take many years, if ever, before these types of operations are more widely available. Until then, I ask all to take pity on those who unfortunately have lost a limb, or an eye.

The World Population   Leave a comment

You might find this statement shocking, but there are far too many people in our world.

This situation is only getting worse each year, with no sign of things getting any better.

Children are being born to die, as in many cases, parents are unable to support them.

Instead of some world leaders saying birth control is wrong and have more children.

They should stop and remember that not everyone is fortunate to live in an ivory tower.

With living cost rising and world resources drying up, their advice is vastly out of date.

People deserve better advice from those who are supposed to help them in their lives.

However, in this world that we live in, things are not always as they are supposed to be.

The saying “Nothing is what it seems,” is truer than what most people seem to realise.

As is “All that glitters is not gold.” Unless people understand this, nothing will change.

Despite what you might think, of all the killers in the world mankind is the worst of all.

We are slowly killing this world, which is why they now look for life on another planet.

It is time to stop and sort out our own world before we look for another one to mess up
